A notice of hearing is a legal document that announces an AER hearing. The AER holds hearings to decide on applications, regulatory appeals, and other matters related to energy developments.
The AER publishes all notices of hearing to this page and often in local or regional newspapers. The AER also sends notices of hearing directly to interested parties. The notice of hearing is an important document for several reasons:
