A complaint is any notification from a stakeholder regarding an operation, site, or facility under the jurisdiction of the Alberta Energy Regulator that the stakeholder believes is causing, has caused, or may cause an adverse impact to public safety, the environment, or personal property.
To report an energy or environmental complaint, please call the Energy and Environmental 24-hour Response Line at 1-800-222-6514.
When calling, please provide as much detail as possible about the complaint, such as:
NOTE: Do not put yourself in harms way to determine any of the above information. The compliance officers who answer the 24-hour response line will notify the appropriate agency and if the situation warrants, emergency responders will be dispatched.
